Gazebo and Plantings

A firehouse…a wine tasting retreat…or both?  An agricultural description might be, a gazebo.  This structure was designed as a small on-site getaway to host wine tasting parties and small gatherings.  It is nestled into rocky and wooded portion of this property.  This bucolic backdrop helped to define the low roof line, the open visual access and the craggy but deliberate stone work.

This structure witnessed a fairly rigorous public review as a product of paper.  In keeping with its final setting, thousands of fern, and other woodland perennials were incorporated around this structure to foster a sense of place, a vernacular of willing acceptance, rather than a rejection of the chosen habitat.
